Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation – Communications
In 2007, UNESCO recognised Noosa for its balance between people and nature with global designation as the Noosa Biosphere Reserve. The Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation (NBRF) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Noosa Shire Council as the governing body to maintain Noosa’s biosphere reserve status. Its role is to develop ‘big ideas’ research and projects aligned with the aims of the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Program. NBRF works with stakeholders and community to enhance biodiversity conservation and promote sustainable living in Noosa.
Sage PR & Marketing is engaged as the Media & Communications Consultant to lead and deliver the Foundation’s Communication Strategy. We provide strategic communications advice and planning, media relations, issues management as well as manage all external marketing communications including media relations and media release writing, e-newsletters, social media management, website content writing, video production coordination, event management, fundraising, digital and email marketing.
We have been involved in the Foundation’s annual Noosa Biosphere Awards since its inception and continue to lead the Awards into its 4th year in 2024 managing all areas of its strategic direction and execution.
